Here at the BIS Skills Centre in Aberdeen, quality and safety is at the heart of everything we do and further to this objective, our experienced trainers provide realistic and challenging training for working at heights. We have a wealth of technical knowledge and practical experience and can train staff to utilise all equipment safely and efficiently.
All of our Working At Heights training courses are continually assessed and updated according to new regulations and health and safety requirements. We aim to help companies meet the demands of UK safety legislations and to increase employees' competence, awareness, safety and productivity.
We can also structure any of the units according to client requirements, for instance by using company paperwork rather than generic forms.
Previous courses have included theoretical knowledge and practical training in awareness and use of fall protection equipment, equipment care/maintenance, Work at Height Regulations, equipment standards, equipment selection, marking, inspection, record keeping and maintenance.
